During 2012 the Porsche Club is making a few changes to the way we operate our Track Days.

Half-Day Bookings:  First amongst these will be the chance to book Half-Days instead of only full days. This may help those who find it hard to commit to a full day at the circuit, but will also reduce the cost slightly. The cost of a half-day is greater than just half of a full-day, as we need to be cautious of a high take-up of half-day bookings, leaving us with an unequal number of bookings for the corresponding half-day, i.e  lots of morning bookings, with no afternoon bookings.

Novice Evening:  We are also running a 'Novice Evening' at Brands Hatch on Wednesday 13th June. We have the circuit for 2.5 hours in the evening, allowing members to enjoy a short, sharp event which for those in the South, can follow on from a half-day at work.

Taster Sessions:  As part of the Club's Castle Combe Track Day on 17th August, we will be running 'Taster Sessions' for those who want to try a Track Day, but are wary of committing to a full day. Each booking will entitle the member to one session on the day. At this stage we are unsure of the level of take-up and would ask members to specify and AM or PM slot. Closer to the event we will issue timings for these bookings. As with the similar event in 2011, this day will link with the Club's majot event at Chateau Impney, on 18th and 19th August.

Multi Booking Bonus:  We are offering a 'bonus' to those who book more than four Track Days with us. Upon booking the fifth day, the lowest priced day of the five will be charged at half-price. For somebody who has booked three days and then books further days, the bonus will be applied at that stage.

Hopefully this will help to make the Club's Track Days more attractive and will reflect our appreciation of the continued support of many Club Members.
